will avoid ba

unless 10-20% discount to book then makan a bit

Yeah 30%, I highly doubt the assets held by Manulife (srsly.. of ALL companies, Manulife) REIT will be better than the REITs already existing in the US markets :s13:

Ppl care so much abt the tax but forget the quality of assets :s22:. So many are rushing to IPO REITs here in SG cos they know got ppl just blindly throw money at anything that screams DEEWEELENTSSS.

Also, what's up with the ppl here and tax (not just 30% div but also estate tax in the UK, etc.)? It's not like you're multi-millionaires that will get materially affected :s13:

Gearing 38% dividends 5.5-5.9% with fx risk. And price is above nav. Think I will skip.

Btw Felix noticed u have cct. What you think about commercial n office reits. Seems like a lot money flowing out.

Based on quality Grade A office space, there's limited oncoming supply this and next year.

So, still your own call.
