Apple Watch is a stroke of genius. But perhaps not the way most people see it.

They took the iPhone 5c with its colours, shrank it to a quarter size (at lower costs?) and resell it at the same price..then at 2x the price..then all the way to 15x the price of the most expensive iPhone..as an even MORE 'personal' gadget.

I am not sure what Steve Jobs thought of that.

Tried out the watch just now and I was quite impressed by the build of it. I also can't believe something this small can have the power of an iPhone 4s.

Can't wait for WatchOS 2... Def getting the sport silver + other bands inc milanese. ML looks quite good with silver sport model.

Anyone knows whether the spine SP and protective cases for the watch is available in SG yet?

Hey guys I'm in Tokyo now and I'm considering getting an Apple Watch Sport here. Seems around $50 cheaper after conversion. Like to consult those who have bought from Japan if there is any issue, and whether warranty will be valid in sg, now that the watch is available in sg

Have called Apple and spoke to a Specialist. She mentioned that warranty is valid as long there are servicing in that particular country (e.g. Hong Kong, Japan, China, US, UK, and many more).

Went in to take a look and touch the apple watch on display, 42mm models at epicenter ION and thought it was 38mm.

No way I will settle for 38, which is smaller than what I thought, was already small, 42mm

Consulted the sales personnel and wanted to grab 42mm sport black strap, but only white and blue available. 38mm has black but well, settled for 42mm white instead and left. Less than 5 minutes.

Which Apple Reseller did you go to?

Yup cheaper in Tokyo due to strong SGD vs JPY

Go for it!

I bought mine from Japan too. The only difference is the wall plug for charger is smaller (2 pin type). I have no issue with it. Just need a multi plug.
