Anyone here using the watch for cycling? What application do you use other than strava?

Been using it to test run on a familiar road so that when oversea, I will know what to aspect. And I been using the apple map. It seem to me that it alert always come too late. I suppose to turn but the arrow keep showing me to go straight.
At 1st I though maybe the wifi with the Bluetooth will help, but then it seems no diff. I will pass 1m before the alert comes.
i also notice that if select "walk" on Apple watch to navigate direction, it still direct you to high way.
Maybe it the map? Or I am wearing the Apple watch the wrong way!?

Have used the watch recently for navigation via the app city mapper and I really love the turn by turn alerts. Quite accurate :) better than my former Gear S

is city mapper better than google maps? Google maps doesn't have the Apple Watch support

City mapper has turn by turn navigation which is transmitted to the apple watch. Even good for public transport and even walking too

I'm pretty sure I'm using the right side of my hand

Tried switch left switch right still doesn't work

Edit : Had a talk with the online apple specialist need to send in for servicing :(

Edit 2 : Found the sweet spot and angle to swing my hand to get the watch to light up. Now i look like a douche whos action is so big that it screams "Look at me i have a apple watch"

Tried citymapper this morning. It's not perfect, but it still does a great job in the route choices.

It reminds me of gothere .sg but in a mobile app.

It's normal if you just started using it. It is not normal if you have already been using it for more than a week.

Sad I must flick it super hard to activate it :( super emo but I can live with it I guess coz I don't use it often

Send it back to service center la. Mine just flick it like looking at a typical watch and display will light up

Give it a week bro, the battery is new and needs to go thru a few charging cycles to normalise.

Second day of usage for me and batt life still pretty similar to yesterday - usage 3hrs 45mins, standby 14hrs 56mins and currently from 100%, left only 42%.
