What do u mean?
Meant that temp pre-set are reaching?

Answer is can't cause due to outdoor sun & heat going into room, for Normal 3x4m will be take around 15-30min to cold down the room.

Unless is facing corridor and no afternoon sun

Just to share, AllBest gives the best pricing, but my friend strongly advise against them as his MIT SM System 4 for his new BTO is leaking after less than a year and AllBest is trying to push the blame...

I am looking at a Sys 4 too for my 4-room BTO, looking at 3X 9K + 18K BTU from Pana/LG, is this adequate?

Btw, so i guess the safest is still go back to Gain City? Do they still give discount ontop of their listed price?

That means 9k BTU aircon is too little for 3X4m room ?

My house has two rooms with 2 splitunit panasonic aircon, both the fans in the room does not blow out cold air as well as the ones in my office. is it because it is sharing the small outdoor unit?

Hi,
I can see Redcon Air quite active here....

Anyone used them before for installation of aircon ?
And how is the workmanship?

BTW, how long are they in the business ? .... as unable to find their company website and no info.

the salesperson say the mitsubishi starmex parts need to order in the event if it spoil. that will takes at least a few month for it to come. And also if the blower unit certain part malfunction, the whole air-con will not function anymore for the time being.

dont know how true is that.

they mention they will come to do a site survey FOC once u place a deposit.

the mistubishi air con looks the most normal in terms of design. other brands air con nowadays look more modern. maybe look nice nia, not durable?

If you place a deposit, you are as good as engaging them already. Shouldn't they do a site survey before quoting you ?

Hi Weiyang76,

1. What capacity is your office blowers?
2. In the office, is there other blowers around?
3. House unit not blowing that cold could be temperature setting or fan coil dirty.

When was the last time your aircon systems were serviced?

Some aircon companies offer 3C40 cable and some offer 4C40 cable. Does mitsubishi starmex aircon need the 4C40 cable ?

3C40 is usually sufficient. 4C40 means there is an extra core as a spare cable or channel in case next time one of the wire breaks. The best one would be 3C70 but it would cost a bit more.

I am thinking of getting mitsubishi aircon from gain city. The only reason I want to buy from them is to buy the 5 yrs extended warranty. There are other aircon specialist shops that offer better price but have no extended warranty (even if they have i don't know if they will be in biz for the 5yrs). Is it worth it to get from gaincity for the extended warranty and do they honor the warranty or push away claiming its not their fault ? Anyone got any experience to share ?

Extended warranty : should cover indoor & outdoor PCB main board & fan motor else, wires is never covering is guess, outdoor compressor was standard 5 yrs from argent.

Like installation PVC outlet pipe was clog & maintainance by serving only.
