Most Bezzera back in stock except BZ13 with PID.
Prices had increased for Expobar as they are pegging to average price of US$ in 2014.

For Bezzera:

All promotions will be removed or price adjusted up in the coming weeks as EUR increased by 10% in the last 3 months.

Prices were likewise decreased by more than 10% 3 months ago when SGD was stronger.
We will advise buyers to secure their purchase asap at current rates.

Out of goodwill, FCC will only revise price of new inventory bought under the increased forex.

Meaning, once the current lot of stock are run out, it will be adjusted accordingly.

For those who are considering between my Nespresso and Semi professional espresso machines mass order.

Or those who are still contemplating whether to upgrade from Nespresso.
The below information should help.

Cost of running a capsule system versus a semi professional system:
Running-cost-compare.png

The cost of a semi professional machine will cost more initially but definitely lower in the long run.
For those who are using for offices, or having great consumption, the cost advantage is clear and very significant.

Usage wise, Nespresso is slightly more convenient.
The Semi pro will probably take a few days to familiarise, but once you are at it, you will make one as fast as those cafes are doing.

For Nespresso you are limited by the 22 blends
Semi professional machines are limitless, to whatever blends you hands can get.

In terms of durability, a commercial semi professional machine, will of course last much longer than any domestic machines.

Hope this information helps.

Burrs will only need replacement after a few hundreds or thousands kg of beans used. That's probably after at least 30000 cups under normal use.
https://www.espressoparts.com/ChangingGrinderBurrs
The bigger the burrs, the longer it can last, the more expensive it is.
Burrs normally cost 1/5 to 1/6 of the grinder's price.

General maintenance and servicing are normally done at user level.
For home use, grouphead cleaning with 3-5g of cleaning detergent can be done once every 1-2 weeks.

Detergent cost $21 for 900g.
http://www.finecoffeecompany.com/shop/puly-caff-900g-grouphead-detergent-powder/
(A starter kit is given with purchase which should last you at least a year)

Cost of spares depend on components, but we were told average out it's below $150 with labor for the general range.

According to FCC's statistics, the chance of genuine electrical components failure in the first 2 years reported is less than 0.5%.
If include all other reported fault, it's less than 2%, most are user error.
That includes clients using for heavier duty commercial purpose.
Certain models like the Bezzera Strega, are suggested to be at least 2x more hardy.

Commonly worn part => silicon grouphead gasket, $15.
http://www.finecoffeecompany.com/shop/bezzera-portafilter-gasket/
May require replacement once every 1-3 years of use and it can be done at user level.

Hope the information helps
