These are valuable feedbacks for LG next move to produce
what the customers want and not to go into too much of
dream land of innovative ideas that won't be popular in the
long run.

As a matter of fact, those who are using Pro 2 are finding
the screen size very suitable and will not be so keen to have
the v10 and the smaller G5.

We are looking for bigger screen, more Ram, faster
processor and improvement on the UI will be wonderful.

Finger sensor and whatever will increases the cost of
production and consumers have to pay a higher price.

For sure, LG must retain the removable battery because it is
the winning combination for high-end users who usually
have two or more spare batteries when the phone is needed
to be used as a camera or for doing videos.

For those with such purpose the LCD screen is a must for its
realistic colours. Hopefully it will also have the f/1.8 or maybe
the f/1.4 lens for its manual camera.

I do not mind realistic colours, in fact I rather they do something like 100% factory calibrated sRGB. Just make like a mini monitor found in desktops.

I'd rather have a larger sensor size and a true full manual control which is something that resembles a proper camera (focus peaking, zebras, multiple focus points across the sensor plane, etc.).

For now, having the G4 at hand, the low f-stop like quite a double edge sword as it is already quite a challenge to nail the focus. In some instances like macro shots, DOF is shallow to the extent that everything is almost dream like (that is not desirable all the time).

But of course, requests such as this would dramatically increase price and bulk of phone. Also this would push users to rather get a full fledged camera (dslrs, high end compacts, mirror-less).

imo i like the G3 and G4's design more because the camera elements blend more seamlessly to the body instead of this case where its all crammed into a little plateau that sticks out like a sore thumb. But ultimately it doesnt bother me too much because I always use a case on my phone

1 observation though... no more rear mounted speaker, guess its probably bottom mount now

Hope the battery isnt 2800 mAh only...
S7 has like a 3600 mAh battery.

Even if removeable, a 2800 mAh battery is really weak.

They are blinded by the chase of the current system of going
towards the direction of being in the lightest weight phone
in the market.

Wonder if this is a struggle towards temporary success or
permanent faking failure? :s8::eek:

2800mah powering a QHD display is nt ideal.Taking a step backwards and shooting themselves at the sametime.

LG has disappointed all their fans from the LG G2 era by moving the volume buttons to the sides. It may appeal to samsung, HTC users but user from previous LG G series whom has accustomed themselves with buttons on the back won't be impressed.

For myself, I just can't go back to side buttons. I'll give the G5 a pass. Sorry LG, you won't be getting my money this time...

2800mAh, if true would be instant dealbreaker for me. I loved the G4's camera but the G5 can have a 10 times better camera and I wont get it if the battery regressed.

not liking the design is 1 thing: cases can mitigate that.

the battery is a totally different story

If the G5 fails to gain popularity among the loyal G3 and G4
consumers, then the head of design department approving
the buttons to to on the sides just because of the dual
camera.........

Well, he got to be mad and has to be punished or sacked
for having that kind of mind, don't you agree? :s8:

If they learn from other companies people will just accuse them of copying. Like what happened with HTC A9 and iphone comparisons.

Anyway this is only their 1st attempt at full metal. The G5 is their learning opportunity on what works and what doesn't. Its just a matter of how many consumers wanna be the early adopter guinea pig

Lg need to do their homework on how to build metal phones. They can consider learning from china brands like huawei(3rd in thw world behind apple and Samsung)

One cannot learn when one is arrogant,
only when one is humble then only he will learn.

Look at Apple and Samsung, they both are learning
and trying to outshine one another. We are pretty sure
they won't give it a miss to learn from the designers
from the mainland China.

China with its huge population has vast amount of
talents that can be tapped and one thing for sure
they won't want to remain as the number three
because there are many other phone manufacturers
like Xiaomi etc.

If LG is not careful, their position will go downhill as
experts from China are too eager to climb to position
two. Lets see what will happen in two to three years
from now.....aha... in 2018, a year where to them
according could be a blooming year! Hahha..haha. :s12:
