Not seeing this on StarHub.. Dam.

Hmm..according to this website, all 3 telcos in Singapore support RCS required for the Chat functionality...

got back my phone from LG service center, in the end they changed the motherboard and LCD screen - don't ask me why they changed my screen.

my new screen is pure white (last screen is warm white)

pretty happy with it, takes around 2 days in the end.

strange. i'm on singtel but i dont see Chat Features under Advanced.
actually what does this feature mean? we'll use Data to send SMS instead of our monthly 1000 or so SMS quota?

Yes, you also get features similar to WhatsApp, iMessage, Facebook Messenger and the likes. But both the sender and recipient must have the Chat features enabled...

Probably it's too difficult to separate the screen from the mainboard.. not worth the risk and time.

Hi guys, does circle.life support rcs and VoLTE? Currently on M1 it isn't supported for the P2XL. Unless i'm doing something wrong. Thinking of switching.

I don't think ST supports VoLTE on 2/XL either.

There's a long discussion here before about VoLTE. If I remember correctly (anyone can correct me), VoLTE feature is supported in Pixel 2/XL, and telcos here also supports the feature. The problem is Google haven't released an update for the phone to support/enable the telcos VoLTE. So VoLTE is not working for all telcos in our phone.

As for RCS, ST and M1 are listed that supports this feature. Not sure on SH.

Maybe they are still rolling it out gradually for users?

StarHub also has RCS according to a few sites. I'm on Android P beta too and my Android Messages is the most updated version, but I'm not seeing the Chat setting....
