Like the design but don't like the specs.. If only it had better specs, it would be perfect

OPPO R7 Review

Just returned the review unit to OPPO. Here's how I feel about the product.
http://musicphotolife.com/2015/08/oppo-r7-review/

Compared to R5:
overall smaller size for better handling
more curvy edges
adds dual SIM
supports microSD card expansion
includes 3.5mm audio-mic jack
increased RAM (from 2 to 3GB)
increased battery capacity (from 2000 to 2320mAh)
faster camera operation
increasead pixels for front camera (from 5 to 8MP)
cheaper starting price (from S$699 to S$569)

Bads:
- same CPU and GPU as R5
- No WiFi AC band, No NFC
- smaller camera aperture
- colours more saturated, not neutral for colour-correct uses.

Easily 8-9 hours SOT on 80% internetstuffs but no gaming. Comparable to my ex Mate7
Yes no NFC - unimportant to me as I never use such feature

Wow. The battery life is that good?

I'm really considering buying it when it arrives in sg. Seeing the oppo Singapore fb page, it'll arrive pretty soon.

Thank you for the info! Sounds great man. Actually, my top three picks are oneplus 2, mi note and r7 plus. Heard that oneplus 2 is coming to sg in Q4 of 2015. Hmm.

If u visit YouTube ... many countries already have R7 Plus...

Apparently Singapore is very slow in getting this...

Maybe I should get it from Hong Kong when I fly there
