Is Windows 10 Defender anti-virus software good enough?

Is windows 10 Defender anti-virus good enough? Is it necessary to install 3rd-party anti-virus software like Avast? I heard lots of problems created by 3rd-party anti-virus software.

Just use Defender will do, save the money and problem too.

Depends on what you're doing. AVG Antivirus is pretty good if you want better protection.

have been using free avast av from win 7 to win 10, no issue leh...

Avast gave me problems when upgrading to windows 10 feature update v1903. Also gave me problems with 3200Mhz RAM when I can't set BIOS properly. After I uninstall Avast, these problems disappear.
