hey guys.. I have a question. Why is it that my "macintosh HD" icon is so huge on the desktop? anyway to adjust so it becomes smaller? thx... new mac user here.

Click somewhere on your Desktop, then Option+J, and slide the Icon Size slider to your fancy.

If i lost my restore disc for my macbook black, can I use other ppl (same model) restore disc?

Anyone using macbook black 2.2ghz model? Can help me burn a restore disc? I will pay $15 + self collection. Becos this macbook is late 2007 model, even I buy a original leopard CD also cannot install into this macbook.

no.

even if it's same model and same specs it may not work. i heard before the cds are produced in weeks, so your friend has got to buy the same model, same spec, and around the same time for it to work.

i think recovery is okay to run those recovery apps

but not installing leopard all over again. sorry if i misinterpreted.

@Zahnie: are you serious? lol. maybe they're just referring to the grey disks?

Just copy the entire Music folder out. Worked for me, from Tiger or Leopard.

Just make sure your iTunes version is at least the same version as it was before you attempt to launch iTunes (particularly of importance in system formats with manual restores)
