Iím using Tiger now & considering getting Leopard for Bootcamp. The question is, if I get a Leopard installations disc, do I still need to have Windows Installation disc to install Windows? Or is it already included in the Leopard Installation disc already?

Thanx!
you will need a windows installation disc. windows is not included in the leopard install cd.

There'a something shiny that's stuck inside my macbook screen.
No matter how much I rub this thing just doesn't come off.

Looks like a chipped metal fragment to me.

I'm running Istats Monitoring my usage and I noticed that the bar for my CPU is super high! Is that normal? There are actually 2 bars running and they seem to be hitting the high end.

Also, I noticed under the processes that there is an "Iavd" reading @ 101% consistently. Does anyone knows what is it about?

Thanks!

it's your anti-virus program.
uninstall it. macs don't need anti-virus programs.

No wonder! Ic.. okies.. Another thing with uninstalling: If I were to drag it from application to trash, would I do a clean uninstall?

Cos in Win environment, there are always residual files residing somewhere in systems, library or something..

Question on Keychain

Airport is able to recognise my router's password through keychain, so each time I log in, it will only prompt me for my keychain PW and not the router's PW. I'm not sure how I managed to get that done, but it gets done.

How can I do the same for
1, websites - so I need only remember my KEYCHAIN PW and not the usernames and PW for the site
2. Applications so that I create security on my Mac?

TIA

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy applecare for my 2 month old mba.

Besides from apple stores, which cost $400+, i know ebay/amazon/IT garage sales sells it.

Is it safe to buy from HWZ? The price they offer is way cheaper (almost 50%) and although they have a lot of good reviews i have still a bit of doubts.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks!
