How much is the subscription? Same as typical BPL?
It's either 6.90 or 9.90. 9.90 can watch up to 3 devices at one go on Singtel tv..

thanks got a synology with 4Tb. now using ds video. so far so good
DS Video is very lousy, always fetch the wrong metadata. Give Infuse a try, they have free version. Once you tried Infuse, you won't want to use others after that.

Which online streaming website recommend ?

I play a file with AAC but can’t get 5.1 audio. Is there some problem with my settings? Do I need to set passthrough or 5.1 in Apple TV?

Nope. No StarHub Go apps. For Singtel tv go, you must subscribe to Singtel tv right? If not also cannot watch

Oic thanks bro. Yup, I got Singtel tv installed for my parents, then I’m thinking of getting either Singtel tv go or StarHub as I also seldom watch all the time. Just get one to install in Apple TV once I buy it.

Not sure whether it is necessary to have the Singtel tv installed in own home to work?

So we need to have a Singtel MIO tv account and we just login with our password? Which means if we want to watch World Cup , we have to pay $119 the broadcast then pay another $9.9 for x number of mobile devices?

Yes, correct. Need to have an active SingTel tv subscriptions first, then add on the tv go. No matter $6.90 or $9.90, u can only have one “on the go” account. Meaning watching outside your home wifi. According to SingTel $6.90, u can have 1 home view and 1 on the go. $9.90, 3 home view and 1 on the go. That’s the different between the 2 plans. Home view is your devices must be connected to your home wifi which your SingTel tv is, same network.

Just curious, I have a VPN (https://www.vpnunlimitedapp.com/en). But how do you install VPN into the Apple TV? Seems there is no dedicated VPN app in TV store.

Figured if I can get the VPN to work, might as well download BBC iPlayer to watch World Cup free as long as I choose a UK IP.

use express vpn. they have a guide to teach you how to set it up for apple tv.
express vpn have a 30 day money guarantee. just nice for world cup. you can cancel it after that.
