https://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/tech...0m-performance

According to tests done by YouTube channel Max Tech, the 16-inch MacBook Pro with this new Radeon Pro 5600M GPU scored an incredible 43,144 points in the Geekbench 5 Metal test.

To put this number in perspective, it's 50% more than what a 16-inch MacBook Pro with the Radeon Pro 5500M GPU would achieve. It even beat the Radeon RX Vega 56 in the iMac Pro.

anyone can advise on this?

i input the serial number of my mac and it says that 'This device isn’t currently accepted for trade in. It is still eligible for free recycling.'

wonder why? it's only a year old.

For which model? Sometimes if too new, they will not accept also.

Planning to buy a refurbished Mac. Is 1 TB storage enough for future proofing?

How do you define future proofing? Continue to get support from Apple?

You can always get external HDDs... how much do you need access to immediately that takes up so much space?

And if you're saying that you're doing 8k video editing, i think your setup needs to be very much different.

So all that aside, yes it's plenty of space.
