Why would ppl go to this store when they can buy in the transit area 7% duty free while flying out??

Unless you’re a frequent flyer, not everyone will have the chance to ‘anytime’ go inside transit area. Apple Store also got Genius Bar and greater chances of having stocks. The only thing good about iStudio is more choices for screen protectors and cases/accessories.

They really need to up the level of their staff first. The Apple experience is non-existence at Orchard.

I feel that it's way better than what you get from third party, because at the end of the day third party cannot do anything for you.

I wouldn't call the recent cosmetic fiascos an improvement. However their denial of 3rd party repairs would definitely benefit the competition, would is also better for the consumer.
