I gotten my apple watch Nike + edition yesterday. Figured out I don't really need the LTE, how often do I need it. Most probably need to pay extra $10 every month to Telco too for the extra sim, even though it is eSim.

I used full day today from 8am to 9pm, battery at 94% remaining. I didn't do any exercise tracking though, since whole day busy at work. Occasional notification, play around with some apps. Battery life is amazingly quite good.
Actually wads the diff between the Nike version with AW3? Same price right.

Think the difference is Nike version has
1 - one additional face Nike+ that only for nike+ version
2 - the nike strap that only comes with the nike watch
3 - and a preloaded nike app(i think, cos I never use)
Other functions, i guess will be the same...

Some small error here.

Nike+ has two additional watch face (Nike digital and Nike analogue).
It has one additional colour you can choose for your watch face (Volt).
Comes with Nike sport band by default which can be purchased separately now. (Used to be exclusive in the past)

My take is, if you’ll definitely be buying watch bands, there’s no harm getting the Nike+ version since it can be configured to work like the regular version at the end of the day.

Planning to buy one in Australia soon, are they cheaper over there?

There are 2 versions of LTE, don't get the USA version, it won't work.

Australia and Japan model has the same model number which is
Apple Watch Series 3
Model A1889 (38mm)
Model A1891 (42mm)

These ones will work, but I can't find an online store to buy from yet.

U can answer call on both, just that you have to be connected and in range to your iPhone at all times with non LTE version

LTE version can be used as a standalone device as long as you activate the esim function with telco.
