I figured I have big fat fingers and a slightly bigger frame/wrist so made sense to get 42mm for me, and 38mm for the fiancée.

Now I'm curious about bands... I didn't realise there were cheap third part bands already e.g. $40 on Qoo10 for classic buckle style > http://list.qoo10.sg/item/APPLE-WATC...lectedOptions=

Has anyone here had much success with these? Quality/fit ok?

My 42mm SS has the black sport band but I actually am thinking of classic buckle.

where did everybody test their wrist?
A couple of people at work got theirs from the initial launch so played around a bit and also measured using a free IKEA tape measure.

asian wrists are smaller and 38mm looks fine. 42 looks weird on big wrist though.

I did a video showing the different types of 3rd party bands available:

That's why they offered try on appointments. It is more of a "personal" approach to them.

Quite ok la..i got a pebble steel which is roughly around the size of 42mm.. Also look small for me on my 170mm wrist...

Some people like big watch and heavy one..while some like small and light.. So see your usual watch style and decide.

mine is 42mm.. i initially though should go for 38mm but its really really small. And i have skinny wrists. Dont judge through photos cos its not accurate with the angle and height etc. See the real one. 42mm is the right sie.. battery last longer and more choice of straps. Leather loop which is a very nice strap is not available for 38mm

By the way, existing owners, if u play soccer how do u track the sport? no such category under the fitness app...
