You might wanna go to Settigs > General > Siri and then select "Language" to "English (Singapore)"
lol does it really make a huge difference?

Try asking Siri "what's the time now ah" 👍🏽

Unless the dictation is not using Siri voice recognition software

Think you need iPhone to pair with the apple watch before you can start using Apple watch

You can't use the apple watch alone. Hell, you can't even start up and set up the watch without an iPhone.

This.

An Apple Watch is really just a watch with some supplementary extensions from an iPhone.

Who knows, maybe one day it'll become a standalone self-serving device like the iOS devices (remember back when you needed a PC to set up an iPhone?)... but currently, not yet.

Was rumoured that Watch 2 will be more tether-free than the current Watch, with inclusion of a FaceTime camera.

Wifi would be good but cellular highly doubt so, no point spending on extra subscription to use on such a small screen and having an extra nano SIM slot might mean slightly more bulk on such a small watch body.

There are some interesting articles on whether Apple's next move is to open it up to Android and make WatchOS it's own platform similar to iPods made the Windows transition and eventually independence.

My watch just hanged. Tapping on the screen just wakes it up, but can't do anything else. Had to press both hardware buttons to shut it down. Restarting the watch solved the problem.

Happens to my son in the mornings too, need to slap his head once or twice for him to restart
