ECG is not mentioned on the Singapore Apple Watch site.
As I understand it, it will be made available to US users later this year only.

I think it is probably built in but country dependent.
Maybe all the hardware already include the functionality .. but need the software app to include it. So maybe if got USA itunes account can get the app to download .. and probably won't be available to download from SG store ..

yeah. since you always get palpitation at work, you should and you must change to s4 and do the check every day. 30 seconds only, you can afford.

Yes Iíve read that the ECG requires an app which will only be available later this year and is only for US market. The cool thing on how it reads is by placing a finger on the digital crown.

In fact, the main reason Iím looking forward to the Series 4 is also the ECG feature but since only available for the US market, not sure if still want to buy.

But the larger screen and able to squeeze in 3 more complications compared to the current Modular watch face is a plus. Price wise...still quite expensive.

The screen is quite a lot larger on the 44mm than my current 42mm. Even the new 40mmís screen area is larger than mine!

ECG is the main feature of the new Series 4 with its new back sensors. Dunno y Apple want to limit only to US market. Even if buy the new watch here, also cannot use.

The 44mm will be just nice on my wrist and I also prefer larger watches.

Decisions, decisions....If want to buy, tomorrow must go make the order, else forget about it.

Probably, but not having full functionality kind of sucks.

Looks like the band sizes are going up from 38 and 42 to 40 and 44mm

https://www.theverge.com/2018/9/12/1...phone-xr-names
The watch face increased to 42mm and 44mm because of the "bezeless" concept. The bands of 38mm and 42mm will still work on the new watches respectively.

The new series 4 for Singapore will not do ECG. That's the only function I want in the new watch.
I believe this is dependent on the approval. Just wait. I believe Singapore will follow FDA.

I see the Apple Watch in the SG Store having the same "Electrical Heart Sensor" as the US store one. I do hope this is the ECG enabled sensor.
