can anyone confirm the local Apple Watch Series 4 does not have the ECG function?

Wanted to get this to replace my Watch Series 3 and thought the ECG function was cool, but went to iStudio and the SA told me SG sets does not have this feature, only the US ones have it.
Pending approval.

Go to the Apple online store and check if its available for pickup.

I ordered mine at 9am, received email that its ready for collection at 1015, went to Apple Store at 1030. From parking, collection and exiting carpark, 11 min! And I took my time to browse through the straps before leaving. Already enjoying my new watch now.
Nice. The last I checked only 44mm LTE space grey is available at Apple store.

For those looking to sell their AW3 can consider doing so via Apple Trade In. A friend of mine plans to do that tomorrow. According to his reasoning which I kind of agree, it is not really a super bad deal. He foresee if he sells via Carousell, he can get at most $300-$320 for his 38mm GPS. If he does it via he trade-in, he gets back $220. And he only needs to return the watch case. He gets to keep the band and charger. He also save time entertaining potential buyers and traveling down to meet them which may not always ends in a successful deal especially if the case/screen has scratches. For the Apple trade-in, a courier will be dispatched to pick up the watch and money be transferred to your bank account.
One more point to add. You can request refund of your remaining Apple Care+ warranty from Apple before the trade in.

What’s the diff between the sports strap and sports loop? Scared the loop not as lasting or secure

All apple straps are extremely secure especially the ones marketed as sports.

For loop, you can adjust to exact length suitable for your wrist. The strap has holes so it will be to the nearest hole.

original is always better !

right now i think all places no stocks for the watches, seems like it really sell better than luxury watches, considering such smart watches not much value at all, a depreciating item esp non SS.

This is the only kind of watch that you feel like upgrading every 1-2 years because of the values/features they are adding to the watch.. Of course, the demand will be there every year.. Haha. And compared to other smartwatches, Apple has shown commitment and consistency in their software update. It is hard to say the same of other smartwatch manufacturers.. Some cannot even decide what OS they want in their watch.

I hope Apple will keep to current design for many more iterations so our investment in straps will not be wasted.

When series 0 watch release. I already tempted to order the link bracelet le. However, I am worried that  will change design every 2 yrs or so. So in the end didn't.

But now, see the redesign series 4 and  continue to use the current straps makes me think i should get it. LOL

5xx not cheap sia.
