Microphone dead after swimming with Apple Watch series 2

Just for sharing guys, went for a swim with the watch for the first time today. Locked the watch before entering the pool and dried it unlock after. Just now when replying to a message with voice then I realised the microphone is not working anymore.

Contacted Apple support, Reboot, unpair and pair back also useless.

Don't know is it I sway or what but think may need to head to service center liao. Any bros had this issue ?

You mean you purged out the water by the water ejection feature? If so, it shouldn't be.

Okok chill....I understood your frustration but fortunately the Series 2 is still under warranty so get it to A.Lab for a service.

Sorry don't understand, before swim, we enable water lock and after swim we turn the crown to eject water. That's the correct procedure right?

Actually I realised that the water ejection function is for the speaker and not the mic instead.

So Apple Watch series 2 can bring to swim or not? You got it replaced?

bumped.

I guess Series 2 should be able to go for swim. But maybe can't go too deep?

MESSY7, you got yours replaced?

Swimming with my AW2 weekly. Around 40-50 min per session. Bought AppleCare. Have piece of mind.

A few weeks back first time swam with my Series 2 and works well but only problem is the pool swim workout detects 1 lap even when you swim 1/2 or 1/4 lap, and take the distance as 1 lap distance. So it's not accurate.

If I'm not wrong, Series 3 has the same water resistance as Series 2.
