Melbourne and GOR weather in Sept

Hi all I will going to the above places this Sept, will like to seek experienced folks what'll be the weather over there and is winter clothing still advisable although it's no long winter season? TIA

weather in melb quite erratic, you do not need thick full winter clothing... jus a jacket it will be colder at night...

It will be cold during Sept.. bring a windbreaker and jacket along
