Lightbulb New 6-year visa for Singaporean travellers to Australia

SINGAPORE - Singaporeans who travel to Australia can get a new visa that will let them enter the country for up to three months at a time over six years.

This will make it easier for them to travel to Australia for business and pleasure, instead of having to apply for a fresh permit every few months.

The visa, which is exclusive to Singaporeans, was announced on the first day of Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull's three-day visit to Singapore.

It will begin by Jan 1, 2018.

Anyone knows how much & where to apply this huh?

Apply thru VFS (Under Subclass 600)

Takes few days to process and prices also very "exclusive"

http://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/busi/t...ign-applicants

When travelling to and entering Australia, you must hold a valid visa.

If you hold a valid ABTC with 'AUS' printed on the reverse side, you do not need to apply for a visa to travel to Australia for business purposes. You must ensure that the passport number printed on your ABTC matches the passport number that you are using to travel. If your passport has changed during the lifetime of your ABTC, please contact your home economy for advice.

If you hold a valid ABTC that does not have 'AUS' printed on the reverse side, contact your home economy to verify if Australia has provided pre-clearance since your card was printed. If your home economy confirms that pre-clearance was granted then you do not need to apply for a visa to travel to Australia for business purposes the ABTC does not need to have 'AUS' printed on the reverse in this instance.

Australian ABTC fast-track entry and exit lanes are available at major international airports.

If pre-clearance has not been granted then you will need to apply for a visa prior to travel to Australia.

Look for Ms Kang n get it done within mins at $7... LOL

might be off topic for ur question but then, quick reply to ur question will be book early, avoid peak periods, get budget airlines or do a transfer at jb senai airport n fly out from there if there's cheaper flight ticket...

u may use www.skyscanner.com.sg 2 monitor tic prices n set price alert too ...

another way; get the cheapest accident AIA plan n join AIA vitality...

check out this link n u can get 50% off emirates/airasia non-promo tickets if u hit platinum status.... to hit platinum, u nid to clock steps n adopt healthy lifestyle similar to HPB steps challenge...

https://www.aiavitality.com.sg/membe...rewards/travel

have a safe journey n if possible, get a 1st class honours n enjoy ur life there...

Wow. I'm simply impressed by the speed of this service. It took them less than 5 minutes to reply my email which I consider extremely fast in today's standards.

No issues with the application and everything went really smoothly.

Would definitely recommend my friends to use their service. First-timer here but definitely going to be a repeat customer.

Cheers!

There are student tickets. It's not exclusive to STA.
