This is really interesting... trade in your PW without ads and get up to US$122! Not sure if it works for us...

Really?

Today I went to check.
Kindle Paperwhite wifi, up to $101
Kindle Paperwhite 3G, up to $45

hmm we pay more for 3G but their trade in of 3G is much lower than wifi. Probably they have lots of 3G stocks????

Quite difficult. A reader just posted on my blog about how the Chinese are more 'on'. From my own research and experience, they are very good at the 'building the wall to prevent people from buying part'.

You can't even buy the ebook in the first place. Let us know if you succeed in doing that somehow!

Go browse amazon china.

U can find most of the chinese book online. U need to register account with most of the site.

They come in mobi or epub format.

Use calibre to convert and email it to your kindle.

Its free and easy.

You may also need a Chinese vpn, and even if you have that, they may know. It's probably not worth the trouble...(China is a really strange place with regard to the Internet.)

Guys, can I have a quick question before deciding if I should get the KPW.

how does flipping pages using touch screen compare to buttons? I've used the Kindle Keyboard and NookST before so I have a general idea of how it feels like. But I'm contemplating between the Kindle 5 and PW because of the page turn buttons. I also notice that you guys complain of uneven lighting, is it THAT distracting?

TIA!

The uneven lighting is still ok..
You willl need some time to get use to the touch screen. As you might accidentally turn to another page or jump to another chapter.

My K3 screen is actually sharper than the PW.
