Depends on if you are particular..... Light scratches i don't bother.
But if yours is a conti car, good model like series 5 BM, or E class then probably you might want to make it look presentable. But for ordinary cars, I would save money to ensure car works fine , engine no problem, interior comfortable..

Go for those ceramic coating.. usually it comes with 1 stage paint correction at least, can help get rid of swirl marks and light scratches.

Coating protection + swirl marks and scratches gone, many birds killed with 1 stone.

You search on Carousell, got many options to choose from. Not too exp, starts from $200, depending on size of car.

One simple question ... you use the car for travel or display?

The car will get scratches. Not because of you. But other people caused it. There will be new scratches every now and then. No ending. No need to waste money. Can move ok already.

Small dents too by other car or lorry doors. Its inevitable. If anal type accumulate a couple then one time do.

Get a battery operated polisher.
A 2 stage polishing compound.
Never fear scratches again.
