Brakes are critical components of a car that can decide life and death.
The automotive industry created a quality management standard called the IATF16949:2016 to lay down the requirements to produce a working brake kit that is also accountable for the safety of its users.

An example of the current valid certification under AP Racing.
https://apracing.com/_/attachments/IATF16949-2016.pdf

All OE sanctioned brake makers will have to maintain the certification in order to stay inside the supply chain network. This certification guarantees the compliant condition of the brake maker to the engineering/quality/logistical/purchasing requirements of the OE customer aka, the vehicle builders ie. BMW, Audi, Honda etc. with the auditing conditions considered.

Not having the certification is a strict NO for the purchasing and product management team. So since the professionals won't buy it, I won't too.

Funny thing is, I went to do 4 door sound proofing with the intention to cut down on the road noise. But end result is that the cabin becomes too quiet that all the other small rattling noises (for eg. Roofliner, HU plastic cover creaking etc) that usually are covered by road/wind noise, now becomes so much obvious. 😅

Not sure whether to feel happy or sad haha

Any experts can recommmend quiet and grippy tires also?
Currently running on oem Dunlop sp3 175/65/15.
Hoping to find quiet but safe tires especially in the rain, not too concerned with longevity.
Thank you.
