IROAD Q7 no wifi dongle message

Hi All! May I know does any of you who is using IROAD Q7 as your car camera? Does any of you experienced the car camera kept repeating “no wifi dongle” message before? My dongle has never been moved and is inserted into the car camera all along and it was working fine until I tried to change my sd card and the no wifi dongle issue started when I tried to connect my hp to the car camera’s wifi after that. Anyone knows how to solve this issue? Thank you in advance!

will power cycle (unplug the power from dash cam and plug back, after inserting the SD card) the dash cam works?

Press hold the power button for 1.5s.

You'd probably disabled it accidentally while you pressed it for 1.5s.

I have this issue on my X9 also, you can try to "short press" the power button so you can get the "wifi power on/off" message.

Sometimes you may need to power off and on the unit totally.

Try not to keep the dongle on 24/7 though, i spoil 1 dongle this way liao, the replacement is like $12.
Now i only check my cam settings once every few months.

shut down the cam. Remove the dongle. Turn off engine. Put in dongle. Restart engine. Restart cam.

Press the right button (on off switch) for 1-2 seconds.

Yr wifi dongle is switched off.

And after doing what you need to do, turn it off again.
Coz wifi will use up extra power that drain yr battery, which is not necessary
