All videos on line are edited slightly or they choose the 'right' place to do night recording.

I got friend on 550 and another on X9, I'll say they are about the same ba. I using Q9.

i have the Blackvue DR650-2CH on my previous car, iRoad v9s2 on my current car. Not much difference for both.

Blackvue: most of their dashcams have built-in GPS module, your dashcam recordings will show your vehicle speed. Good or bad depends... if you were speeding when involved in an accident your dashcam footage will be against you. Blackvue has a bug whereby the time setting will stop when you remove/replace your microSD card, need to download their software to set the time before you reinsert your card. An annoyance for those who has multiple SD cards.

iRoad: no GPS, the mobile app is less user friendly.

I used both iRoad and Blackvue and are very happy with the resolutions. Just that my v9s2 spoiled just after 1 1/2 years.. so i am kind of disappointed with it's quality. Maybe it's just me.. but my perception for iRoad has always been economical and good prior to this.

I just changed to Hella DR820. Unable to advise further on the reliability as this is only my 1st day using. Video quality is good.

Front : Blackvue, Rear Thinkware. Bgt it pre-owned and with me coming to 2.5 years. So far so good. No change of memory card before.

Car everyday under sun . No overheat issues as hearsay blackvue got over-heating problem last time.

My friend got Hella brand for his new ride and 6 months memory card up lorry.
