If you are not supposed to book out, and your officers unofficially let you book out, then you better not drive.

If you have off pass, then I don't see why not.

Best measure, don't do it. Difficult to explain if you are caught. Because NS pays you for reservist, and that is in lieu of your foregone pay during the same period.

But we are not supposed to work during reservist. I mean will they be able to find out?

When you want to break rules or commit crimes, why do you need affirmation from others?

But we are not supposed to work during reservist. I mean will they be able to find out?

I did drive when I doing reservist last year November. As long as RO given and unit let you book out already I don see why you cannot drive. If u got urgent matter to attend to at work and u talk to OC, OC will give your off pass already. Really depends on your unit.

Anybody drive during reservist period when free? Are we allowed?

Need some advise

Hi Guys, need some advise. hope someone can enlighten me.

i am currently renting from uber and my car its under the 250 per week promo for 3 months. my end date is around mid feb..

I am not actually an uber driver. i just use the car as my own transport. i dont even have PVDL / TDVL... long ago when i sign up uber when the first open i did drove for 1 day only.. after that just didnt anymore..

my dad is a taxi driver.. uber have been sending msg to entice driver to rent and switch to uber and blah blah..

my dad is not signed up with uber yet. anyone know if i refer my dad to sign at uber without taking the LCR car and can still drive my car as a uber driver?

also anyone know the refer scheme? and should i use my father name to rent from uber and put myself as the name driver for myself to carry on driving the car.. my dad wont be driving the car for Uber because he dont really know how to use the app. other than basic call function he has even problems just to SMS..

There are many foolish people. The penny-wise, pound-foolish people are just one class.

Read the sensational story of how a SAF staff sergeant was fined $2,000 for giving 140 rides using the GrabHitch app between October 2016 and March 2017. The SAF regular had not sought prior approval.

...The GrabHitch Driver ferried a rider by the name of Ms. Danielle Goh from 5 Simon Road to Blk 405A Fernvale Lane. The driver received payment of $3.50 for the trip. After the trip, the rider decided to email MINDEF and feedbacked that the Driver was a regular serviceman who was moonlighting as a GrabHitch Driver. She added that the driver was in Army uniform at the time of the trip...

Why not? Help to send passengers safely home
No. 1 SAF unofficial rule:
