ISACA Memebership for CISA exam and endorsement

Hi All ,

i looking to book for my CISA exam and i found out that being a ISACA members prior booking exam the exam fees will be cheaper.

- Wanted to check is it mandatory to join after taking the CISA exam .

- do i need to endorse my CISA work experience after passing the exam ?

Thanks in advanced !

join membership fee is 125+
exam with membership is 575
exam without membership is 700+

hence the price for exam is about the same..

yes after passing exam, need to pay $50 admin fee and get someone to verify your experience.

So if I just take the exam do not need to join the membership ? So is it better to join ?

if your company pays for professional memberships better just to join. if they don't then you can think twice. subsequently you can choose to just maintain your certification without paying for CPEs if you want, and that will be 45USD. Membership cost an additional 125USD on top.

sorry abit confusion for me , so it means i can just pay 45 usd yearly to maintain the CISA certification ?

i just thinking will it be hard to prove the experience after i pass the CISA exam .

Yes you can choose to do that without maintaining the ISACA membership, but you'll have to find a way to maintain your CPEs so I'd recommend you to be an ISACA member for CPE. You will need your seniors to sign for your experience for the past 5 years.
