This article appear on my site too: Top 6 Best Workspaces to Work in Singapore

Recently I quit my full time #Razer job in Singapore and step into entrepreneur life. I always wanted to grow my idea and monetise it, not to mention that I hate to stuck in the daily routine office where we have to work from morning to late evening, every single day.

Working by myself is never easy, and a lot of self motivation required. There are lot of backend stuffs that I've to be execute by myself all the time and've to work in front of my laptop most of the time.

During these period, I am trying to work from home, but I realized I wasn't productive, and sleepy most of the time. Thus, to combat this sleepiness and increase my productivity, I decided to move around Singapore to work.

Working in different workplace energised me and keep my productivity in the tip top condition, and I am enjoying explore the new places as well. Let's me share to you the Top 6 workplaces that I really love to go:

Below are the top 6 workplaces that I really love working there:

1.Collision 8

Collision8 situated at the central of the town and the office come with beautiful Marina Sand Bay view, the signature of the Singapore city that inspire entrepreneur to think differently.

There are free flow fresh brew coffee, tea and snacks. Oh yea, they have shower facility which is greatly helped me when my productivity is dropping, and I can get the quick bath to refresh myself.

Collision 8 offer hot desks, dedicated desks, private offices, events space, and meeting rooms for you and your team. The community also connect the members to resources, people, and opportunities through facilitated introductions and a network of preferred partners.

Collision 8 address:

High Street Centre, 1 North Bridge Road, #08-08, Singapore 179094

2. The Working Capitol

The Working Capitol is another coworking space in Singapore. Situated at The Central, only few minutes walking away from the Tanjung Pagar Mrt station. This coworking space is located at the CBD area, and people are wearing suit in the coworking space. They are free flow brew coffee and tea.

The Working Capitol may not not have beautiful view to see from the office compared to Collision 8, but it come with great facilities as such as swimming pool and gym facilities which located just right below the offices. I enjoy chill by the pool while working on my stuffs.

The Working Capitol on Robinson

140 Robinson Road, Singapore 068907 (Reception at Level 4)

OK, enough of the coworking spaces. Coworking spaces are great place to work in Singapore but the fee will be killing you if you are the smaller scale of startup, or freelancer.

Let's see what are the free alternative working spaces that you can find in Singapore.

3. Orchard Library

Since I came to Singapore 2 years ago, I love to hangout in the libraries. There libraries here are really nice places to hang if compared to Malaysia and every library over here equipped with free WIFI by Wireless@SG. One of my favourite library is the Orchard Library that situated at the town area. The library in located in the shopping mall, at minutes away from the Somerset MRT.

There is no free coffee or tea over here, and loaded with a lot of working desks and new books. The other best thing over here is, there are a lot of cute girls (students) studying over here. If you are looking for some motivation to kick start your work, this is the place to go

277 Orchard Road, #03-12 / #04-11 orchardgateway, Singapore 238858

4. National Libary

National Library is the most favourite spot for me to work. National Library, consist of 6 floors in the 13th floor building and is the largest library in Singapore, and easily accessible. The library situated in at Bugis area, and required only 5 minutes walking time away from the Bugis MRT and Bra Basah MRT.

There are plenty of working desks there it is hardly fully occupied by people. In fact, if you compared this library to other libraries in Singapore, this library has lesser kids (less noise), and lesser elderly come here and sleep too LOL.

100 Victoria St, Singapore 188064

Bored of libraries? Sure, but it is FREEEEEE and quiet too! Anyhow, I have more adventurous places for you guys! Keep reading pal, and you will be impressed!

5. Singapore Sport Hub (anywhere outdoor)

If you are someone like me who love outdoor and natural air, then Singapore Sport Hub is your place. A minute walk away from the Stadium MRT, you can find the coolest outdoor in Singapore, with WIFI available!

Yea! You heard it right, there are WIFI at the outdoor all the way and and chilling if you go at during evening time.

The outdoor is so windy and not many people moving around during the evening too. I love to work over here after my gym session in the Kallang Wave, and the breezing sound of the wind and outdoor view with the coconut trees inspired me.

6. Andaz Hotel

Cheers to you, if you are the type of person who need alcohol to get inspired and motivated. Once a while, I find myself getting a bottle of alcohol keep me inspiring and motivated. Andaz Hotel is new hotel situated in at Bugis, and is just less than 5 minutes walk away from Bugis MRT.

There is a root top bar on top of the hotel building, with beautiful scenery. A bottle of beer cost me $12 but I can stay whole night with the lovely view over here to work. The beautiful scene on the top of the building where you can view the Singapore city and working there. Don't you think is awesome here?

5 Fraser Street, 189354

So that is the top 6 spot that I really love to bring my #MacBook Air and work.
