nobody is gg to buy a 700$ console jus for halo 5, esp since MS seems to have the intention to bring their xbone games to win 10 also and compete with steam (which is failing so badly)

even Valve wants the home TV crowd with their Steam Machine. a contained environment for games to run on which basically what console is all about.

of course the meaning of consoles have changed drastically since the 7th generation. consoles are no longer machines producing the best graphics, the top dog goes to PC. Sony got caught for making PS3 a rubik's cube level puzzle to develop on. so there is little wonder why this generation went on to join the PC master race, leading to this mid-generation update.

I dont think they can beat sony anymore at this point, at least directly. No one is gonna switch over just cause of the better specs. This last 6 months ps4 got more exclusives than what xb1 had since 2013. More like they aiming pc crowd who want to play console games but hiam the graphics performance of the existing consoles. Depending on the price, if its cheaper than the pc rig with equivalent specs still can consider.

I think Microsoft should make a portable gaming pc machine box than wasting money at xbone .

They have no good exclusives games , people will rather buy switch and play zelda .

Thats exactly my pt. Wii sports wasn't available on anything else, you had to buy a wii if you want to play wii sports, exclusive software drives hardware sales.
