Lightbulb G.Skill TridentZ RGB or NEO

Hi there,

Like to check
G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GB (2 x 16GB Kit)

or

the TridentZ Neo Series 32GB (2 x 16GB Kit)

compatible with X570 board running a Ryzen 2700X at stock or 3200 speed?

TiA.

Thx for reply.

I do read that NEO is specifically for Ryzen.

I am likely to go with 2700X and a X570 board.

My concern are (base on 2x16GB kit):

1. Use RGB version 3200 alright to run at 2933 ?
2. Use Neo version (recommended for X570) alright to run at 2933 ?

Advise needed.

BR.

If you can afford the Neo, then get the Neo.

I have normal TridentZ RGB running smoothly at 3200.

Neo should work easier out of the box

Get the Neos.
(Particularly the cheaper NeoC)

https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/123393067-post7.html

They are using new Hynix DJR(possibly)
8x16chip modules.
1st time getting 64GB 3600MHz C16 out of the box on Ryzen3000 & B450 even.
Older snipers could could take 3200 only and bsod-ing on 3333MHz.
But if you are looking @ 2000series, then get the Neos and remember to update the bios.
