There is a benefits calculator on their site that gives some examples. None give 4 miles/$...

Just used CardUp for the first time.
Easy & fast setup & payment.
The $20 off first time payment is a good deal, paired with BOC, net 2.4% rebate !

Does the Cardup payments using BOC Family Friends count as spending towards the SmartSaver 500 SGD for bonus?

To be fair even if you only get 1.4mpd at 2.6% fees that's still buying miles for 1.8cpm, which isn't terrible considering some are paying 2cpm via AF. Both cardup and ipaymy have been advertising their benefits using a generic 1.2/1.4mpd card and not a 4mpd card. Their main purpose is to allow you to make certain payments using credit, which would otherwise have been not possible.

if no more 10x, then why pay cardup 2.6%? sibei boliao and useless

After recent move to classify ipaymy/cadup by number of banks as non points/miles earning transactions, such payments while are possible, yet does not make financial sense.
