Just to share:
The Grab transaction (with hyphen) corresponds to your Grab ride’s Booking code (can be found in receipt) e.g:
IOS-1234567-8-138

Will show as [GRAB *1234567-8-138 SINGAPORE SG] in the statement. The string of digits (before the first hyphen) are most likely your unique user number as it doesnt change.

This means it is a Grab ride and will get 10% on either MC or VS.

For the Grab transaction without hyphen (16 alphanumeric), it is top-up of wallet. I called in a few times to check with different CSOs, they mentioned no rebate (for MC), albeit some folks seem to be getting rebate, so still needs more experiments ;)

Based on some discussion earlier
GRAB *354354559-9-019 SINGAPORE SG <-- get 10%
GRAB *2AE45D89A4B2440E SINGAPORE SG <-- dont get 10%

Bassd on my rebates this month, can get rebates for VS, but not MC.

Transactions posted at end of statement may have the 0.2% awarded in the next statement.

The payment sum should have taken the rebate into account .. so should pay the full amount as per statement.
