Sometimes I find it funny also why got rejected since I'm holding OCBC, SCB, HSBC, Diner club, BOC and DBS/POSB. My credit standing is BB and not in debts. My payment is prompt and I don't pay min every month. The only bank rejected me is CIMB and UOB.

If your current credit limit for unsecured lending is more than 12x your monthly income, it is likely to decline. I think maybe they are aligning with MAS BTI ruling

I work in a commissioned job, and my total yearly income is more than 4 times what their minimum income requirement is

Different banks probably have different risk algorithms. Like I could have had high limits over few cards, but like ANZ and BOC just do not like my profile. Even ask for low limits also get rejected. Could also be due to the total unsecured lending limit I had.

commissioned income is not reliable enough for automatic approval. try to appeal to human agents.
