I have a horrible experience with ezlink auto giro deduciton through credit card...yes ezlink.

I encounter at mrt but their mention is bank issue so ask me to top up cash $50 after i use up today, the same issue happen so i call up bank which revert will re issue credit card with courier service while ezlink reload mention that their procedure to terminate my giro due to unable to collect from my credit card.

So i ask why no sms or email to inform customer, he mention after checking due to i top up therefore no sms about the termination of my giro deduction and email only after monthly deduction (end of the month). Which nothing to be done from them after they terminate my giro.

So i ask what the action ?

He ask me to re apply again that all.

So i decide to stop using ezlink reload through giro credit card after two incident through them without any remorse about their wrong term and condition. I ask if credit card deduction also have no fund in their credit card, he just brush me off to check with the bank.

The moral of the story is they can't get money they just terminate our giro facilities without bother to inform us through sms or email. I confirm after i check today but they denied it.

So as a customer, we got choice to choose other like flashpay. Lucky there is competitor - instead of monopolise the transport payment.

I stronlgy recommend NEVER use EZLINK.

1. Problem by them but no action from them - just reapply
2. Terminate but refuse to inform customer
3. Unable to provide solution but reapply.
4. Ask to revert bank as if bank is the issue of the problem.

whether bad debt or not, i believe the bank has the due responsibility to inform the user. even if is bad debt should not be affecting your giro arrangements as it should only affect your credit limit and credit card renewal.

care to share which bank and what card is it?

Since we can top up our cepas via GTMs, are auto-reloads still relevant to get rebates? Like the Citibank SMRT card.

Sent from the thirsty hippo under the sink that you forgot using GAGT
This should be the best card now?
Can top up both EZLink and NETS Flashpay.
However, need to top up at GTM and it is a debit card.

DBS VISA DEBIT CARD 5% CASH 21FEB jib liao Posting date 24FEB

I intend to apply this card to top up ezlink too. Does it entitle the 5% cash back?

so far all counted

i think you are getting a bit confused...

For 1) if you insist on using BOC Family card cos you want the 5% then YES, cheapest way is NOT to use the BOC Family card itself as the NFP card. Use the BOC Family card to ATU to any other NFP card.

2) Yes you will incur 25 cents from BOC Family to any other NFP card.
Any idea how much will be incurred if BOC Family card is used as the NFP card using the ATU function?

50 cents convenience fees instead of 25 cents
