Hi OCBC,

Like to know why is that some of us are not targeted for the 4mp on dining with no cap till 9th Feb 2018.

Hi 1renatan,

We seek your understanding that the bank does at times run promotions exclusively for selected group of customers.

Hi OCBC

For Agoda/Uber/Grab transactions, if pay through iPhone apps by using APPLEPAY, is this consider as mobile payments and entitled to 10x bonus?

Or must tap or wave the mobile device against the visa paywave/Mastercard paypass reader only consider as mobile payments?

Scizorsim 15-01-2018 10:52 PM

In app transactions not counted, so yes to your 2nd point.

For applepay transactions will decoded into different card number when show on bills, so can easily differentiate from swipe transactions, just curios apps transactions will counted as mobile transactions or not.

Refer to https://www.ocbc.com/assets/pdf/card...ium.pdf?rand=1 item (c)...

I think OCBC is best person to explain the TNC

According to apple in-apps purchases is https://support.apple.com/en-sg/HT202023

Scizorsim 16-01-2018 08:45 AM

Nope it's not. Search previous posts and look at Louist's screenshot above, or read the tncs.

For uber use Citi or the woman 😅

Hi all,

In-app mobile payment transactions are not eligible for 10X OCBC$.

This may be found in the T&Cs - https://www.ocbc.com/assets/pdf/card...ium.pdf?rand=1

For mobile payment transactions to be awarded with 10X OCBC$, cardholders will be required to physically tap/wave their phones at the merchants' terminal.

Personally for me it's quite clear lah. It has since replaced my PPV, which would be good news for OCBC product team... until I breach the $24k cap of course.

Yes, subjected to $12k annual cap, if you using titanium rewards card.

Time to post 1x/9x points

Is there some time from the transaction to have 1x/9x points posted? If so, is this time dynamic (like xx days from the transaction) or fixed? If latter, is there a specific day 9x points will be posted?
