If i remember correctly, there are 2 specific MCCs that are excluded under insurance. I guess yours was outside of the 2 MCCs, hence earning citimiles.

My Prudential Insurance charged to my Citibank PM Visa card earns CitiMiles.

agree with u. it depends on how the insurance companies charge for different insurance products

Hey guys, can I check for the "When you apply and spend any amount within the first 3 months", how long did it take for the miles to be reflected in your account?

And do you have to opt in for it since it's an either/or with the other option being having the first year annual fees waived?

Any amount spend will be almost reflected immed upon transaction being posted.

When you apply, they have this thing which u checked on whether to accept waiver or dont. Alternatively u can call in to check

For the bonus 20k miles have to wait for 3 months after u fulfilled the last required condition

Thank you, pcmdan.

So I've called in and for the 15k welcome miles have to 1) pay the annual fee in my next statement 2) post a transaction in the following statement calendar, 3) miles will be credited up to 2 months thereafter.

I'm just looking to get the first 15k miles and probably subsequently use the UOB PRIV for general and overseas spends, though the pull of CM not expiring is pretty great. Still deliberating though.

Referring to this promo at 15k - https://www.citibank.com.sg/global_d...lcomOfferaMILE - no?

Or is there one at 20k elsewhere?

If Ur using visa, try google "visa forex exchange". And then use their calculator to calculate and convert. They also have option to include fees (in%)

haha

so lets say u hit $1

5000 miles + 10,000 miles welcome bonus?

haha quite smart seh... $193.60 for 15,000 miles. I.e. 77miles per $$ PRO..

For my scenario was:

i was thinking of $1 per 4.2miles

should be one of the better ones out there
