If you have a Savings or Current Account with the bank which you holds the credit card, you can request to link your Savings or Current account and use it to withdraw money from your Savings or Current Account.

So far, the banks which offer this service are as follows:

a. DBS/POSB
b. UOB
c. OCBC
d. Standard Chartered Bank
e. HSBC
f. Bank of China
g. Maybank

For these banks, you can visit the branch or write in to request them to link the Savings and/or Current account to the Credit Card. For OCBC Bank, you can do so automatically via the OCBC ATM by using your OCBC Credit Card.

Thereafter, by using your Credit Card, you can access it via ATM to perform ATM transactions (Balance Enq, cash withdrawal, etc) on your Savings/Current account. You can also use it for NETS transactions too.

For CitiBank, if I am not mistaken, if you have their ATM card to access the Savings, Current or Ready Credit Accounts, you will be able to use it to access your Credit Card details via ATM too.

Actually all banks allow that. It is called Cash Advance. Do note that a service fee of 5% (varies from bank to bank) will be levied on the cash advance amount (subject to minimum service fee) on top of the finance charges that will be charged from the date withdrawal is made till full payment is made.

Hi Guys,

I got another question.
If i convert my credit card to atm card. Can i still use the normal atm card?
Scare if credit card fees come, and ask them to waive off but they refuse, then i will cancel the card.
Then no more atm card lao... :x

Use your ATM card. Service charge is cheaper. In fact in some case is better in some cases as exchange rate is better then those offer by those money exchange.

Be very careful when using CC as ATM card when withdrawing money.
Never press Fastcash, go through more button pressing like selet
Other Transaction/Other Withdrawal - Saving Account etc
If not you find out being charged Advance Fee/Admin Fee for nothing

Yes, withdraw from your savings account instead of credit card by mistake.
