FYI, all CA (Singapore): You can use the $100 CPE credit to sign up for a 2.0 hr e-learning course on Ethics to fulfill the requirement.

Hello, just want to know if FKT is processing its applicants currently, for associate level? Thank you!
It is about this time. They usually start interviewing around late Aug and Sept.

Anyone mind to share the hiring process of PwC for experienced hires? I sent them additional info on last Wednesday but no news till today.
I'm interested too. Applied last week through their portal and no news or anything so far.

Exclamation Big 4 Audit now

Hi, would greatly appreciate anyone from Big 4 Audit (preferably Yellow coy) as of now to share tips and insight to the current work environment? I would love to hear how is it like currently in terms of:
1) Work - hours, leave, offs
2) Promotion/Progression
3) Or anything new?

Many Thanks!

Hey guys, if one is unable to get into big 4 or mid tier audit firm, is it then better to join a small sized accounting firm to get an opportunity to learn the full sets of accounts, or join an mnc as an accounts assistant and specialize in one area(AP/AR)?

Currently at a crossroads now. Appreciate some seniors to give some advise

big4 for both client exposure and CV IMO.

i wouldn't worry about not getting to see whole set of financial statements in your first few months - you'll get there one way or another. depending on industry sector, you may also get more depth in big 4.

Hello! I have scoured through most of this thread but I can't seem to find anything about Grant Thornton Singapore T_T Why nobody go there??

I would like to know the difficulty in moving onto big 4 from GT. Do the local big 4 consider GT as a midtier and what are the chances of you moving in from GT? My concern is the fact that although GT is within the top 6 globally, their local presence seems to be considered as a smaller midtier.... is that true.

Also another question... is the singapore CA good for entering overseas industries, like in Europe or Japan? Can someone explain to me what are the recommended qualifications for each region? >< thanks ...

Not hard to go to big 4 after reaching senior level, but they will probably give a one-year haircut to your position.

Hi all, may I know when is the hiring period for big 4 and larger mid tiers? I read from earlier posts that they hire in batches, so wondering which month is the best month to send resume.

Thanks
