Any PE teachers here on 25th July? My status just changed to shortlisted. Maybe we can update one another😄. Anyone can also share how many more stages do we have to undergo once our status has been changed to shortlisted? TIA!
Youíve received the email also?

Did anyone receive a confirmation of shortlisted email in the latest application window? Has anyone gone for the medical checkup?
Hi Nugeme! Just saw your pm, I havenít been checking my inbox. And I canít reply pm yet haha. EPT started with the written test (1h 40mins) followed by a lunch break before the verbal test (20 mins). The format is exactly like the sample paper. Not sure what is their grading rubrics like though so unable to comment on that!

Hey, thanks for replying!

Did you meet a lot of other PGDE applicants?

By the way, I have not received any shortlisted or medical email.

And to those who received the rejection email, there is supposedly a 6 months cooldown period from your rejection date before MOE will call you back for an interview. Donít give up and keep trying! Think about what might have gone wrong during your interview (eg. did you handle the Ďchildrení with patience, did your interview responses reflect the extent of your passion appropriately, were your responses on the ethical issues aligned with MOE views). You could possibly nail it the next time round. All the best!

There were fewer than 10 of us there I believe. A mixture of PGDE and Dip applicants

Woah, that's far fewer than I expected! Were the applicants divided into smaller groups so maybe that's why the number is so small?

Hey I was surprised too. Itís a big building, there might have been other groups too. Their requirements to sit for EPT are really uncertain though from what I gathered. They might have considered our interview too, like if we had spoken or written eloquently enough back then, alongside our O levels and GP results. Just my guess though! If you have to sit for the next EPT, you will most likely be contacted this thurs i guess.

I see. So there were candidates who scored good grades for English in O-Level and/or A-Level and still had to take the EPT?

Among the candidates you met, were their shortlisted subjects similar to yours?

Yeah, for the next EPT date on 15 Aug, the latest they will contact us is by this Thurs since they said they would inform 1 week before the test date.

Congrats! Just curious... does careers@gov status gets updated roughly 2 weeks after our interview?

Did you get EPT email too?

Hi everyone,
I happened to google and stumbled upon this forum. I just applied as a diploma applicant on careers gov. I need some advice - For Diploma holders, are we only able to choose Pri Arts, mother tongue, Music, PE? That was the list in the dropdown menu available. I was hoping to be able to do bachelor in education after dip in edu, so i am able to teach Pri Eng, is there still a chance they may offer this route based on my application? Or how does it work? Really new to this.
