You guys are asked to register for EL EPT? @Curiosity01 & @sbetta

I did not receive anything
Yes. Maybe you managed to get an exemption, which is good.

EL EPT

Hi,
Can anyone advice on how to prepare for the EL EPT by RELC?
What were essay questions asked in the EL EPT writing and oral sections?
Thanks for the help.

I dont think there is any minimum requirement explicitly mentioned.

"The Ministry will at its discretion, require applicants to sit for the EPTs."

This is taken from the moe website.

There used to be. The criteria to be exempted was:

1) at least B3 for English during Os
2) at least B for GP for As (I think. Iím not sure as I went to poly)

But theyíve removed the criteria link from MOEís website since 2015. Iíve been hearing that even some that got B3 for Os and etc. are called up to do the EPT. Apparently nowadays the interviewers will take into consideration the essay that you wrote on the interview day itself too. So.... I donít know hahaha

You were notified yesterday evening?

Look on the bright side. By asking you to go for the EPT, at least you know youíre moving on to the next stage. I havenít received any news at all, and donít even know if Iím exempted or totally not moving on to the next stage even.

All the best for EPT!
