Same here. I am offered as well.
Hello, have you received any further updates from MOE on the start date for untrained teaching stint? Is it still 22 June? Appreciate if you could update on this post! Tks!

Hello! Thanks so much for letting me know! I have not been informed of the briefing date. I’d better contact MOE.

If I am not wrong, different subject combinations or specialisation has different dates for appointment. For me, it will be 1st June.

Hi there, do search for Origamimosa's post. She mentioned about EPT test details. All the best!

Hey Bro, please don't feel bad. I went for 4 PPT but only manage to pass the 4th try. Similarly, I have attended two interviews where I was only to be offered at the 2nd try. In the mean time, do get yourself into a sport education related roles if it is possible. Presently, if you don't have full time job, do give relief teaching a shot.

Hi, I indicated my EPT preference date on 29 April, however due to CB period, it was postponed and have not heard any updates on this. Are u also from the Jan/Feb batch?

Hey yes, I’m from the jan/feb batch! As to my knowledge, not everyone is required to sit for the EPT, maybe no news is good news so fingers crossed!

Hi!

The testers will simply give you random questions for both your written and oral test. It really is all about just wanting to see how you carry yourself, and if you speak coherently. When I went for my ELPT, I was asked to talk about the most memorable holiday that I had. It really wasn’t nerve wrecking at all. Just be mindful to not pepper your sentences with Singlish. Don’t worry about a thing, it will be ok!

Melodious wonderer ;

Sorry, I missed your message and not able to PM due to my lack of posts.

I just received an offer on 21st May. After almost 14 months of wait! Went through 2 interviews, 2 PPTs and 1 English EPT.

Will be attending the appointment briefing on 2nd June. Most likely contract teaching for 1 year because the next intake for pgde and dip ed (PE) is July 2021.

All I can say is be hopeful, understanding and extremely patient especially during times like this. Even before covid-19, demand for teachers has been low due to low enrolment, merging of schools and large number of teaching applicants etc.
If you have taken your medical, means it's a matter of time.
gideonite and sbetta like this.
