Waiting for the letter, confirm liao then can say. Don't dare to count eggs before they hatch. =)

Hmm, that's really weird! For all my three years of application, only NUS send SMS leh.

Since you're accepted to SMU and NUS already, could it be NTU? Hmm..

hi,
i am interested to know if NTU computer science is better or Nus Computer science is better? Does Computer science still have prospect in the new future or would EE Or ME be a better choice?

Thanks

I guess is from Yale-NUS since you mention close one, but not NUS.

Do most people actually go for the orientation camps? I know that the purpose is to make friends etc but I just wanna know if most people do go for it.

NTU Accountancy seems easier to get in this year from what I've seen. A few applicants with straight Bs got in when usually it requires As in past years.

Not sure if they increased intake ?

So I've just received an offer from NTU's Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Facing a dilemma right now... I would prefer Mechanical Engineering though.
Should i do an appeal for mechanical an wait for the results (could i do it again as i did not did the previous one well)? If i do would my current offer be gone?
Do i apply again next year as I'm serving my NS...
Any suggestion guys? Do i accept/hold or reject?

Nicholas92 28-05-2013 06:36 PM

[IMPORTANT] : Accept your current offer.

Appeal for Mechanical Engineering.

If successful - EEE will be gone.
If unsuccessful - You will keep EEE. Re-apply next year.

So if i keep EEE, i still can get another offer next year and reject EEE by then?
So accepting it right now wouldn't affect my appeal results am i right?

Nicholas92 28-05-2013 06:46 PM

Accepting it now won't affect your appeal results.

If you get another NTU offer next year, you will automatically lose EEE.

Hey guys, I've just received my rejection letter from NTU.. Haha. I've applied for accounts. My GPA is 3.87, R4 of 13.

Before you ask, nope, I wasn't granted an interview.

Nicholas92 28-05-2013 07:04 PM

NBS also looks at your English & Additional Mathematics grade besides your GPA. (Which is clearly high enough.)

This doesn't make sense. I know someone with very similar grades with you who got in.

Your R4 is excluding any bonus points right ?

At any rate, at least you still got SMU Acct. :)
