You see,

Even though both GPA and A Levels RP both drop, but the GPA drop is much much more than the drop of A Levels RP.

Hence, overall, there will be more worse off GPA students, entering with low GPA and considerably average A level rank points students in the cohort, making A Levels students at a advantage.
don't know what you are smoking but ok noted.

As you see...

Even though both GPA and A Levels RP both drop, but the GPA drop is much much more than the drop of A Levels RP.

For instance NUS RE and PFM, used to have GPA of 3.68, now drop to 3.54, then for A Levels RP used to have be 73.75, now it dropped to 70.

From this example, You can see for RE and PFM cohort, it is definitely beneficial for the A Levels students, as they are competing with poly students coming in with 3.54.

As opposed to last year, competing with poly students coming in with 3.68.

How much lesser As and Bs needed to decrease from GPA of 3.68 to 3.54 and how much lesser As and Bs needed to decrease from RP of 73.75 to 70?

So a greater fall in GPA compared to the smaller fall in A Levels RP, is good for A level students.

Of course, that being said, there are still top Poly and A Levels students entering the course, but what I am trying to say, A Levels students will be competing with a much lower GPA poly cohort.

P.S. just taken RE and PFM as example randomly from the IGP, not biased towards these 2 courses.

I guess my explanation is much clearer for those who can*********t get it.
Subjective wor

Poly student who will apply for RE and PFM normally have some background on that topic before. So it is not necessary easier for the A level student ....

If they have previous experience like hotel and leisure management, etc, then why are they entering at 3.5+
Have background doesnít mean good at it.

5th Semester

If my 5th semester is higher than the 10th percentile but 6th semester is lower, will the 6th semester affect the chances of getting in?
