Specialist Diploma ELP

Hi all, is anyone taking this program? Itís an ELP program for poly grads. I would be nice if someone could share their experiences with it as I have a few questions:

1. What are the chances of getting into local Uni, after this course? I heard people with Low gpa manage to get into SIT. Maybe not for NUS, NTU

2. How is the work and study like? Is it night study or work few days and go back school one day?

3. Usually what is the salary per month?

Thank you!!

I am from biomedical engineering in poly. I plan to apply for the specialist diploma for biomedical and pharmaceutical engineering from NYP.

Oh I was from hr and did my specialist diploma in NYP too. My classes were 3 times per month for about 6 months and for each module there will be a 1.5 hour test usually held in the evening (7:30pm - 9pm). It somewhat follows the NYP academic calendar, i.e., your classes won't be held during the semester breaks etc. Not sure if your specialist dip will be running for 12 / 18 months tho.

As for the pay wise, it will usually depend on the average fresh grad pay for your course, but I think the companies will be told (from the ELP side) that the expected pay is $xxxx. Hope this helps!

If you are gg to be using your specialist dip gpa to apply, I think only SUSS and SIT accepts specialist dip gpa, smu/nus/ntu doesn't (as far as I have checked). I have applied for both ft & pt in SUSS using both my dip & specialist dip results but still waiting for the emails from them...
