I use Photoshop leh

Got it from the way around

Is Lightroom better?
Output is what it matters.

No doubt Lightroom is more user friendly with all the sliders. But I will always turn to photoshop for stitching panoramas, doing HDR and "purging" distracting elements.

General rule of thumb. To freeze walking humans, the shutter speed should be at least 1/250. For performers, I think you'll need even faster shutter speeds.

Also, do consider stopping down slightly to get a greater DOF if the performer is moving. This decreases the likelihood of the performer going OOF.
Ok... Will take note and try... =)

just to add on

many people think hab F1.4/F1.8 lens means use F1.4/1.8 to shoot streets at night fast shutter speed + nice nice BOKEH~!

but iish notch true, cause besides capturing/freezing their motion, if they out of focus is very painful to watch

dont tell me some OOF pics are nice, i think none of us has reached that level yet

just to add on

Prolly the jpg compression caused the banding. Else is the raw file was being pushed too hard.
