I dun understand why they dun release F1.8 35mm as like 55mm f1.8

if not I may even hop onboard and say screw nikon, I'm staying sony xD
I think 35mm is a harder lens to design? The 35mm lenses are costlier than the 50mm counterparts

From memory, I thought the DF has dedicated shutter speed and iso dials. Customisable also ar
dedicated is fixed..
but they also got the traditional DSLR-like turn turn knobs to change settings

He wanted the Nex series. I recommended him the Canon 100D coz sony e-mount lenses are expensive n canon has a better upgrade path. He wans to shoot landscapes overseas, so he wans lightweight for travelling n gd image quality, so prob gonna slap a prime lens on the camera only. Yesterday i brought him to funan, he tried both n he likes both. Dilemma, which one better?

More FE lens coming in 2014. Beside, when Sony sell Zeiss lens, Zeiss also get part of the money. Maybe the FE35 F1.8/1.4 might just be a sony only made lens.
