How many shops have you asked? If all are in the same range, that would be the indicative price.

I've made recommendations on where you can purchase and where you won't be ripped off.

If you are looking to save that $10 or even maybe very lucky - $20, and willing to comb the whole of Singapore, you can try.

I've seen a couple shop from 12pm all the way to 8pm at Funan before, just to save $14. I wonder how much their parking costs eventually.

Penny wise, pound foolish.

Hi guys,

I bought a Sony Nex 5 about 5 years ago and I think its time to upgrade... What I like about it is that it's very compact and cool.

I love photography but not so passionate to spend thousands buying lenses etc - Nex 5 doesn't come with good zoom lenses.

Is there any good camera within the budget of around $1K ++ that comes with good zooming and overall functions eg capture night scene / crazy moving pets. hehehe..

Please advise~ Thanks!

You all can try buying from DigitalRev, their reviews are good and is cheaper than Singapore. Heard there is no delivery charges also

Hi guys, I was thinking of getting either an owned Nikon camera or one that is new from a third party. In these two cases, both still have warranty with warranty card but no more purchase invoice.

In such a scenario, if i were to send for servicing at Nikon. Will there be any issues?

Yes, without the invoice, it is warranty-less.

I'm a crazed online shopping fan, so I'll always say just go buy it online. Shoppee, carousell, lazada, Qoo10, shopback. just use those, keep looking out for deals and you'll always get whatever you need.

Hi guys,

Want to explore the beauty of night photography and lights.
This would be my firsts hot at dedicated cameras and I'm not too sure how much of a budget is required for a kick-start.

Looking at APS-C with fast lenses...
Any recommendations?

Hi everyone - is it better to buy from store or online? Or is Carousell good?

Basicbrenda - I got mine from Carousell. Suggest you collect with somebody who knows how to check it’s functioning
