Helios 44-2 with M42 Fuji Mount - issue

Hi all,

I have a weird problem in that when the lens is mounted, the aperture and focus range wordings are pointing towards the bottom of the lens (instead of reading from the top)...

Brought the lens online from Russia and the seller says he's never seen such issues.

Would this be an adapter or a lens issue?

thanks in advance for any help.

Lens seems to be working, but its just impractical to have to estimate the aperture and range distance through the view finder....

A split screen view finder maybe helpful, I had the Katzeyes before, but after sold off my old manual focus lenses will taking out from my DSLR I accidentally scratched it. If pinpoint focus is what you want this might be the thing for you.

Do u mean ... it has infinity focus problem is it

u can just the lens of the adapter.. nearest to the sensor piece

Trial and error... is the distance problem
